Detection & Response Security Engineer, Threat Intelligence

Compensation:

$122,000/year to $181,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Track threat clusters posing risks to Meta’s infrastructure and develop countermeasures.
• Investigate and forecast emerging technical trends with actionable suggestions.
• Collaborate with incident responders to provide timely intelligence for investigations.
• Enhance tooling for threat tracking and intelligence data integration.
• Engage in cross-functional projects to improve Meta’s security posture.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of threat intelligence experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Security.
• Familiarity with campaign tracking techniques and threat modeling frameworks.
• Experience in intelligence-driven hunting to identify potential risks.
