Detection & Response Security Engineer, Threat Intelligence

Compensation:

$177,000/year to $251,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and respond to security threats with an intelligence-driven approach.
  • Track actor groups targeting Meta and its employees.
  • Identify gaps in current detections and work with stakeholders to improve security posture.
  • Establish and execute multi-year roadmaps for research efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional projects to enhance Meta’s infrastructure security.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of threat intelligence experience.
  • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Technical expertise in Security Operations and Threat Intelligence services.
  • Experience in developing and delivering information on threats and incidents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience leading technical teams and collaborating with incident responders.
  • Familiarity with threat hunting and intelligence data analysis.
  • Knowledge of malware analysis and network traffic analysis.
