This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Resolve customer issues and ensure product readiness during production deployments.
- Triage technical escalations, including platform outages and executive concerns.
- Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's technology by troubleshooting and diagnosing customer-reported issues.
- Advocate for customer needs with internal teams to improve product performance.
- Provide 24-hour customer support, including non-standard work hours as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience in customer advocacy, troubleshooting, or software development.
- Proficiency in Java, C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with distributed systems and web technologies.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in crisis response and public cloud services.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and Linux/Unix systems.
