This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Work with customers on their production deployments to resolve issues and achieve product readiness, availability, and scale.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's product technology through troubleshooting and diagnosing customer-reported issues.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Advocate for customer needs with internal teams to improve the product.
- Participate in global 24-hour customer support, including non-standard hours or shifts.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs.
- Experience creating content for technical audiences.
- Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with web technologies like HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with public cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience in data analytics, warehousing, ETL development, or data science.
- Experience developing developer tools and working with distributed systems.
