This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting customer-reported issues.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support.
- Engage with customers on their production Google Kubernetes Engine/Anthos deployments to resolve issues.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs.
- Experience with coding in Java, C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with web technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, DNS, TCP).
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with public cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience in crisis response or escalation management.
