This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting and determining root causes for customer-reported issues.
- Act as a consultant and subject-matter expert for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Advocate for customer needs with internal teams to improve the product.
- Ensure 24-hour customer support, including non-standard work hours.
- Work with customers on Google Kubernetes Engine/Anthos deployments to resolve issues.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience troubleshooting and advocating for customers' needs.
- Experience with coding in Java, C, C++, Python, or Go.
- Experience with web technologies and distributed systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with public cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience in crisis response or escalation management.
