Compensation:
CAD 158,000-162,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Resolve production deployment issues and manage technical escalations.
- Develop understanding of Google Cloud's product technology and troubleshoot customer-reported issues.
- Act as a consultant and subject matter expert for internal stakeholders.
- Advocate for customer needs with internal teams to improve products.
- Provide 24-hour customer support, potentially including non-standard hours.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 6 years of experience in troubleshooting, customer advocacy, or software development.
- Experience in creating technical content and debugging code in languages such as Java, C++, Python, or Go.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and web technologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in crisis response and developing developer tools.
- Background in data analytics, ETL development, and big data applications.
- Familiarity with public cloud services, particularly Google Cloud Platform.
