This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis and resolution.
- Troubleshoot and reproduce customer-reported issues, determining root causes.
- Act as a consultant for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams.
- Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 9 years of experience in technical support or related fields.
- 9 years of experience reading or debugging code in languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with distributed databases and data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of web technologies and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
