Technical Solutions Developer II, Data Analytics, Google Cloud

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis and resolution.
• Troubleshoot and reproduce customer-reported issues, determining root causes.
• Act as a consultant for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
• Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams.
• Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 9 years of experience in technical support or related fields.
• 9 years of experience reading or debugging code in languages such as Java, C++, Python, etc.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with distributed databases and data processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of web technologies and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
