This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Compensation:
CAD 132,000-135,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis and resolution.
- Understand Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting and determining root causes.
- Act as a consultant for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
- Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
- Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 9 years of experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
- 9 years of experience reading or debugging code in Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, .NET, Perl, or JavaScript.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with distributed databases or data processing frameworks.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals and system administration.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
