Technical Solutions Developer, Data Analytics, Google Cloud

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 140,000-144,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Manage customer issues through effective diagnosis and resolution.
• Understand Google's product technology and architectures by troubleshooting and determining root causes.
• Act as a consultant for internal stakeholders to resolve technical deployment obstacles.
• Advocate for customer needs with cross-functional teams.
• Work as part of a global team providing 24-hour customer support.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of experience in technical support, professional services, software development, or product operations management.
• 9 years of experience reading or debugging code in languages such as Java, C, C++, Python, Shell, .NET, Perl, JavaScript.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with distributed databases and data processing frameworks.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals and system administration.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
