Staff Software Engineer, Google Photos

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with tech leads and product managers to identify team requirements and growth opportunities.
• Architect solutions for large-scale systems in Google One and Photos.
• Guide engineers and prototype new concepts to drive business results.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 5 years of full-stack development experience, including Java or Kotlin.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience in technical leadership and complex organizations.
