Staff Software Engineer, Google Photos

This role is based in Mountain View, CA.

Compensation:

$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Work with tech leads and product managers to identify team requirements and growth opportunities.
• Architect solutions for Google Photos and Google One, ensuring scalability and adaptability.
• Guide engineers and prototype new concepts to drive business results.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years of full-stack development experience, including Java or Kotlin.
• 3 years of software design and architecture experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• 3 years in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with complex, cross-functional projects.
