Compensation:
$197,000-$291,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of five software engineers and security engineers, overseeing their coaching and career development.
- Define and execute the team's strategy for securing Google's third-party dependencies.
- Develop innovative solutions to secure Open Source Software (OSS) dependencies.
- Collaborate with partner teams in Google's software supply chain Integrity program.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of programming experience in C++, Java, or Go.
- 3 years of experience in software for data privacy or security.
- 3 years in a technical leadership role.
- 2 years in a people management role.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
- Experience in supply chain security issues.
