Software Engineer III, Node Platform Infrastructure

This role is based in New York, NY or San Francisco, CA.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, implement and test APIs and large-scale distributed backend systems.
• Collaborate with SRE to ensure quality and performance.
• Gather requirements and create innovative tools to enhance usability.
• Participate in the deployment and lifecycle management of Google hardware.
• Review code and provide feedback for best practices.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with C++ or Go.
• 2 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or networks.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience working with customers and being a team player.
