Software Engineer III, Instances API, Google Cloud

This role is based in Kraków, Poland.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and operate large-scale distributed systems for GCE Virtual Machines.
• Implement solutions for orchestrating the lifecycle of millions of VMs for AI/ML applications.
• Enhance automation, scalability, and resilience of the Instances API.
• Collaborate with teams across Google Cloud on complex customer use cases.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Java, C++, or Python.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in designing and operating scalable distributed systems.
• Proficiency in Java and API design.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms.
