This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 150,000-154,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience programming in C++ or Go.
  • 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
  • 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 2 years of experience with performance analysis or debugging.
  • Experience developing accessible technologies.
  • Proficiency in software test engineering.
