Software Developer III, Chrome and Web Ecosystem

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 150,000-154,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates and feedback.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of C++ development experience in large-scale infrastructure or applications.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in developing web applications with Java, Typescript, or other open-source tools.
• Experience in data science, desktop browsers, or desktop applications.
• Experience in developing accessible technologies.
