This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.
Compensation:
CAD 144,000-148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Write product or system development code.
- Participate in design reviews with peers and stakeholders.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with full-stack and Kotlin.
- Experience building products leveraging AI technologies, particularly Large Language Model (LLMs).
- Experience with backend server API and infrastructure.
Preferred qualifications:
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable products for cloud customers.
- Proficiency in verbal and written English communication.
