This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 144,000-148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to documentation and adapt based on updates and feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.
  • Collaborate with the Chrome Payments team to improve existing payment APIs and build new capabilities.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with Android/iOS/web development and various programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, and JavaScript.
