Software Developer, Chrome Payments

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

CAD 144,000-148,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Write product or system development code.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback.
• Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on updates.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve them.
• Collaborate with the Chrome Payments team to design and implement improvements to payment APIs.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in Android, iOS, or web development.
• Familiarity with Java, C, C++, Python, Shell scripting, and JavaScript.
