Compensation:
CAD 144,000-148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging threats to defend Google's ads ecosystem.
- Build statistical and ML models for spam detection and filtering.
- Collaborate with product areas and research teams to apply Machine Learning in fraud detection.
- Instrument Google ads products to collect traffic signals for anomaly detection.
- Analyze botnet workflows through traffic analysis and reverse engineering.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of software development experience or 1 year with an advanced degree.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
- Experience with statistical analysis, data mining, and anomaly detection.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks.
- Frontend development skills with modern web technologies.
- Experience in security analysis and vulnerability research.
