Senior Staff Software Engineer, Search Ads Bidding

Compensation:

$262,000-$365,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Apply algorithm design and implementation to real-world problems.
  • Leverage Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI for optimizations.
  • Develop full-stack backend software and implement sustainable systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, product managers, and data scientists.
  • Communicate about Bidding and Ads systems design and implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience programming in C++.
  • 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
  • 5 years of experience with bidding systems design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
  • 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • 3 years of experience in a complex, matrixed organization.
