Senior Staff Software Engineer, Data Center Execution

This role is based in Pittsburgh, PA.

Compensation:

$248,000-$349,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Simplify the DC Execution ecosystem through architectural design and refactoring.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to define requirements for GPU/TPU deployment.
• Provide technical leadership to a large team of Software Engineers and UX Designers.
• Work directly with Google data centers to observe tool usage.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in software development.
• 7 years of full stack development experience with languages such as Java, Python, GO, or C++.
• 5 years of experience in design, architecture, and testing of software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience in data center operations and machine learning infrastructure.
