Senior Staff Developer, Google Kubernetes Engine

This role is based in Waterloo, ON, Canada or Toronto, ON, Canada.

Compensation:

$248,000-$349,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in distributed systems and Kubernetes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure systems for Google Kubernetes Engine.
• Collaborate with customers to address complex technical challenges.
• Stay updated on Kubernetes ecosystem developments.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 7 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure and Kubernetes.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or PhD in a related field.
• 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role.
• Experience with Autoscaling solutions.
