Senior Software Engineer, Managed Kafka

Location: New York, NY, USA; Raleigh, NC, USA

Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of a Managed Kafka platform on GCP.
• Design, build, and manage the backend stack for Managed Kafka.
• Develop primarily using Java and Go.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of software development experience.
• 3 years of experience with large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Experience with Apache Kafka.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform, Distributed Systems, or Data Analytics.
