Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure, GCP Identity Infrastructure

This role is based in New York, NY or Sunnyvale, CA.
Compensation:
$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
Responsibilities:
- Write and test product or system development code.
- Guide design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
- Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices.
- Contribute to existing documentation or educational content.
- Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of software development experience in C/C++ or Python.
- 5 years of experience with professional software development in large-scale backend systems or offline data pipelines.
- 5 years of experience in building reliable, large-scale infrastructure systems.
- 3 years of experience in operating and supporting online services.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience in implementing multi-factor authentication, single sign-on, identity management, or related technologies.
- Experience with cloud providers (e.g., Google Cloud Platform).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
