Senior Software Engineer, Cloud Asset Platform

This role is based in Kirkland, WA.

Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Make technical contributions to design distributed systems and build highly scalable serving systems.
• Own the design, architecture, and implementation strategies for sub-systems with massive scale and high throughput.
• Establish and maintain high technical standards, ensuring code quality, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with PMs, Engineering leads, and partner teams to define goals and drive the strategic roadmap.
• Participate in engineering engagement with internal teams and external partners.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
• 3 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure or distributed systems.
• Experience in backend, infrastructure design, build systems, and large-scale data processing.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Experience in designing and building high throughput and low latency backend systems.
• Understanding of distributed systems and developing at scale.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems across multiple components/domains.
