Senior Software Developer, Eye Tracking Algorithms

We're building a future where lightweight XR devices like smart glasses and headsets pair with helpful AI to augment human intelligence, offering personalized, conversational, and contextually aware experiences.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience developing software in C++ and Python, and optimizing code for resource-constrained, low-power, or performance-critical edge devices.
• Experience in algorithm research, development, and translating prototypes into scalable, production-ready software.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience applying linear algebra, signal processing, or machine learning techniques to solve complex algorithmic problems.
• Experience with eye-tracking systems, geometric algorithms, or sensor calibration routines.
• Experience building data analysis tools, visualization dashboards, and data reprocessing pipelines to support algorithm evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Research and prototype new algorithmic and machine learning approaches to improve eye tracking accuracy and maximize population coverage using real-world data insights.
• Develop scalable, computationally efficient algorithms optimized for resource-constrained, low-power operating modes.
• Manage open-ended technical challenges by efficiently navigating ambiguity, evaluating alternative solutions, and driving execution while collaborating closely with hardware and research teams.
• Drive testing and quality by contributing to data reprocessing pipelines, visualization tools, and automated test frameworks.
• Provide technical leadership to define software standards, develop comprehensive technical documentation, and support cross-functional teams with hardware integration and investigation.
