Senior Security Engineer, Google Distributed Cloud Air-Gapped Compliance

Location: New York, NY, USA; Cambridge, MA, USA

Compensation:

$166,000-$244,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks for Google Distributed Cloud Air-Gapped.
• Conduct security assessments and risk evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on security improvements.
• Lead projects for monitoring, audit tooling, and compliance enhancements.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in security assessments and design reviews.
• 5 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
• 5 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with compliance in relevant sectors.
