Compensation:

$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

Work with network equipment and monitor systems for attacks and intrusions. Collaborate with software engineers to identify and fix security flaws.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify security issues and design controls to improve security systems.
  • Lead efforts in managing security outcomes and provide guidance to engineering teams.
  • Manage security outreach efforts, including post-mortem processes.
  • Participate in incident response for Chrome security incidents.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews.
  • 5 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
  • 5 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.
  • 1 year of experience leading technical teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data privacy and security systems.
  • Experience with vulnerability management and security research.
  • Experience with software release management.
