Compensation:
$174,000-$252,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
About the job:
Work with network equipment and monitor systems for attacks and intrusions. Collaborate with software engineers to identify and fix security flaws.
Responsibilities:
- Identify security issues and design controls to improve security systems.
- Lead efforts in managing security outcomes and provide guidance to engineering teams.
- Manage security outreach efforts, including post-mortem processes.
- Participate in incident response for Chrome security incidents.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews.
- 5 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
- 5 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.
- 1 year of experience leading technical teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in data privacy and security systems.
- Experience with vulnerability management and security research.
- Experience with software release management.
