This role is based in multiple locations including Kirkland, WA and New York, NY.

Compensation:

$174,000 - $253,000/year + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Identify security issues and implement security controls, tools, and services.
  • Perform security reviews, research vulnerabilities, and design secure protocols.
  • Provide security guidance for engineers and support staff.
  • Respond to vulnerabilities and focus on security strategy for Google Cloud.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with security engineering and security protocols.
  • 5 years of experience with security assessments or design reviews.
  • 5 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.
  • 1 year of experience leading teams in a technical capacity.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in applications security, cryptography, or network security.
  • Experience with C++ dynamic analysis and static code analysis.
  • Expertise in security assessments and vulnerability management.
