This role is based in Seattle, WA or Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and enhance security solutions for Google Cloud.
  • Facilitate alignment and clarity across teams on goals, outcomes, and timelines.
  • Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
  • Review designs and drive towards defense in depth and security by default.
  • Provide security guidance for engineers and support staff.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with security engineering and security protocols.
  • 2 years of coding experience in one or more general purpose languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in systems security, virtualization, or cloud infrastructure security.
  • Proficiency in C, C++, or Rust, along with scripting languages such as Python or Go.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and mentor a technical team.
