Security Engineer, Platform Security and Privacy

This role is based in Kirkland, WA, where you will work with network equipment and monitor systems for attacks and intrusions.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Identify security issues and design security controls.
• Analyze applications to discover vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on security expectations.
• Assess vulnerabilities and recommend fixes.
• Prototype and build security tools.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of experience in security assessments or design reviews.
• 2 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
• 2 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in threat modeling and secure software development.
• Knowledge of security protocols and applied cryptography.
• Ability to use static analysis tools.
