This role is based in Sunnyvale, CA.

Compensation:

$223,150 - $255,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls, tools, and processes required to solve complex or difficult security problems.
  • Evaluate sophisticated and interconnected systems to identify threats, contextualize risk, and communicate findings to executive stakeholders.
  • Drive mitigation and remediation efforts that address systemic security issues and improve overall operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to the security engineering roadmap and own the strategic vision for your designated technical problem space.
  • Operate information security systems, respond to advanced threats, and serve as the ultimate escalation point for junior engineers.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field and 5 years of experience in Security Engineering, or a Master’s degree with 3 years of experience.
  • 3 years of experience in technical risk analysis, systems hardening, design of scalable security solutions, offensive security, and code development.
