This role is based in Austin, TX, with potential for a hybrid schedule.

Compensation:

$147,000 - $211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Identify security vulnerabilities and analyze active threats to inform response and mitigation strategies.
  • Design and implement robust security controls, tools, and services to enhance system and process security.
  • Operate information security systems and execute established procedures to respond to potential threats.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers and escalate complex issues to appropriate teams when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field and 2 years of experience in Security Engineering.
  • Experience in threat modeling, coding for security automation, security assessments, detection and response, and incident management.
