This role is based in Reston, VA.

Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000 + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement security monitoring strategies, incident response plans, and security awareness programs.
  • Oversee the deployment and operation of security tools such as SIEM and IDS/IPS.
  • Lead incident response efforts, including investigation and recovery.
  • Conduct forensic analysis of security incidents and provide recommendations for improvement.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience with security assessments, security engineering, and security protocols.
  • Must possess an active US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with polygraph.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certifications in CISSP, CISM, GCIH, GCIA, or OSCP.
  • 5 years of experience in a security operations role.
  • Understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
