This position is based in New York, NY or Reston, VA.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Protect network boundaries and monitor systems for attacks.
  • Collaborate with software engineers to identify and fix security vulnerabilities.
  • Drive resolution of complex security incidents and policy questions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in security assessments or security design reviews.
  • 2 years of experience with security engineering and protocols.
  • 2 years of coding experience in general purpose languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in engineering or cybersecurity roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
