Security Engineer, Information Security Engineering

This role is based in San Francisco, CA.

Compensation:

$147,000-$211,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Analyze systems to identify vulnerabilities and opportunities for hardening.
• Develop specialized tools for security engineers to enhance security posture.
• Promote quality security practices across the organization.
• Perform rapid threat modeling of complex systems.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with security assessments or security design reviews.
• 2 years of experience with security engineering and protocols.
• 2 years of coding experience in one or more general-purpose languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated tools for security workflows.
• Experience managing large-scale security improvements.
• Proven expertise in a specific security field (e.g., AI, Web, Mobile).
