$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

About the job:

As a Security Engineer, you will work with network equipment and monitor systems for attacks, collaborating with software engineers to identify and fix security vulnerabilities. You will also design and implement security controls for identity management.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement security controls for identity and account lifecycle management.
  • Identify vulnerabilities and improve security posture of identity systems.
  • Collaborate with software engineers and product managers to address critical risks.
  • Communicate technical security risks to leadership and partner teams.
  • Define technical roadmap for addressing complex security problems.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
  • 2 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with security architecture and risk analysis.
  • Familiarity with IAM standards and protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML).
  • Experience in securing distributed systems or cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining complex concepts.
