This role is based in New York, NY or Kirkland, WA, where you will work to create and maintain a secure operating environment for Google's users and developers.

Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Identify security issues and implement security controls, tools, and services.
  • Develop monitoring strategies for control domains and document findings.
  • Collaborate with product and risk teams to enhance visibility into organizational risks.
  • Evaluate data sources and provide recommendations for accurate control measurement.
  • Integrate data signals into monitoring platforms for compliance and security posture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in security assessments or design reviews.
  • 2 years of experience in security engineering and protocols.
  • 2 years of coding experience in general-purpose languages.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in business intelligence and data analytics.
