Network Engineer, Edge Network Operations

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor network performance and coordinate planned maintenance.
• Respond to network connectivity issues and expedite problem resolution.
• Automate network monitoring and troubleshooting to enhance customer experience.
• Provide operational support for GCP customers and BGP peers.
• Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of experience in networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, VPNs).
• Experience with one scripting language.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience coding with Python.
• Strong knowledge of IP network infrastructures and protocols.
• Understanding of SDN and cloud computing.
