Network Engineer, Edge Network Operations

This role is based in Dublin, Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor network performance and coordinate planned maintenance.
- Respond to network connectivity issues and expedite problem resolution.
- Automate network monitoring and troubleshooting to enhance customer experience.
- Provide operational support for GCP customers and BGP peers.
- Participate in on-call rotation for escalated issues.
Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 1 year of experience in networking (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, VPNs).
- Experience with one scripting language.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience coding with Python.
- Strong knowledge of IP network infrastructures and protocols.
- Understanding of SDN and cloud computing.
