BigQuery Security Software Engineer

This role is based in Kirkland, WA.

Compensation:

$141,000-$202,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Develop enterprise security features related to securing databases, tables, rows, and columns.
• Provide encryption at rest and transit capabilities.
• Write product or system development code and review code from other developers.
• Triage product or system issues and debug as necessary.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in software development for data privacy or security.
• 2 years of experience with cloud security.
• Experience with Java or C++.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related fields.
• Experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience working on big data or related cloud scale services.
