Staff Software Engineer - Data Sync Team

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia with a hybrid work model allowing for both remote and on-site collaboration.

What you'll do:

• Own configuration frameworks and abstraction tools for data movement.
• Lead the shipping of streaming modernization using technologies like Flink and Kinesis.
• Define self-service ingestion and egress pipelines for data movement.
• Consult with product, ML, and analytics teams to shape data movement needs.
• Co-design the team roadmap and mentor existing team members.

You're probably a match if:

• You have experience building platform infrastructure used by multiple teams.
• You are strong in Python or Go, with practical knowledge of streaming technologies.
• You have a solid understanding of data movement at scale and can consult across teams.
