Staff Software Engineer - Data Platform Workflow

This role is based in Sydney, Australia with a full-time onsite schedule.

What you'll do:

Own the analytics journey for data platform users, optimize workflows, and define best practices for AI-native analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Map the end-to-end user journey and identify bottlenecks.
  • Build agent-ready platforms and convert existing interfaces for AI use.
  • Define standards for AI-native capabilities within the data platform.
  • Measure impact through metrics on adoption and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Experience with AI-native platforms and workflow ownership.
  • Strong background in data platforms and familiarity with tools like Snowflake and dbt.
  • Proficiency in Python, and knowledge of Go or Java.

Tech stack:

Python, Go, Snowflake, dbt, CI/CD for data pipelines, AWS.
