This role is based in Sydney, Australia with a hybrid work model allowing for both remote and onsite collaboration.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the technical roadmap and architecture for API platforms.
  • Guide implementation and mentor engineers.
  • Propose innovative solutions for distributed cloud infrastructure.
  • Facilitate cross-team initiatives for improved reliability and security.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in developing distributed web applications, preferably on the JVM.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS.
  • Knowledge of asynchronous programming and modern networking protocols.
