This role is based in Sydney, Australia with a hybrid work model allowing for both remote and onsite collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Define the technical roadmap and architecture for API platforms.
- Guide implementation and mentor engineers.
- Propose innovative solutions for distributed cloud infrastructure.
- Facilitate cross-team initiatives for improved reliability and security.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in developing distributed web applications, preferably on the JVM.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS.
- Knowledge of asynchronous programming and modern networking protocols.
