Responsibilities:
- Define the technical roadmap and architecture for API platforms.
- Guide the implementation of major projects and mentor other engineers.
- Propose innovative solutions for Canva's distributed cloud infrastructure.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in developing distributed web applications, preferably on the JVM.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Experience in large distributed cloud environments, ideally AWS.
About the team:
The API Platform team is responsible for building and maintaining the backend services that support Canva's growth.
