Staff Security Engineer - Detection and Response, remote across ANZ

This role is based in Sydney, Australia with remote work options available.

What you'll do:

As a Staff Security Engineer in Detection and Response, you will lead the design, development, and scaling of detection and incident response capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build resilient detection systems
• Automate workflows to enhance threat response
• Mentor peers and define detection strategies

Requirements:

• Strong incident response background
• Experience in threat hunting and effective detections
• Hands-on technical experience in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Proficiency in Python, Golang, or Java for automation

Beneficial Experience:

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and containerized environments
• Experience with Endpoint Detection and Response tooling
