Staff Security Engineer - Detection & Response, open to remote across ANZ

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia with remote work options available.

What you'll do:

• Own and deliver a strategic architecture for Canva’s Detection and Response Team.
• Identify and improve security response tooling and capabilities.
• Lead the adoption of GenAI Workflows for operational efficiency.
• Mentor other engineers and assist in hiring talented security engineers.

• You have experience in delivering strategic roadmaps for security tooling.
• You possess hands-on experience in security automation and response tooling.
• You are proficient in programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Java.
• You have strong project management and communication skills.
