Software Engineer - Platform Workflows (Python) - Open to remote across ANZ

This role is based in Sydney, NSW, Australia with remote work options available across ANZ.

What you'll do:

  • Understand the needs and workflows of Canva’s infrastructure platform.
  • Write tools and services to ensure safe and quick iterations on the infrastructure platform.
  • Consult with internal users to bring clarity and alignment.
  • Take ownership of existing configuration frameworks and infrastructure abstraction tools.
  • Participate in planning rituals to prioritize needs of platform engineers and infrastructure consumers.
  • Work alongside product managers to integrate a product mindset in platform engineering.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge in Computer Engineering/Science fundamentals.
  • 4+ years of experience with Python.
  • Experience with Kubernetes and AWS (GCP is a plus).
  • Prior work in a platform engineering capacity.
