Senior Engineering Manager - Security Platform Engineering (Open to remote across ANZ)

This role is based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia, with remote options available across ANZ.

Responsibilities:

• Manage two small teams of software engineers focused on reducing security risks.
• Own the strategy and roadmap for both teams, balancing security and developer experience.
• Coach and develop engineers through regular feedback.
• Oversee the team’s development methodology, ensuring high performance.
• Drive internal adoption of security systems across engineering teams.

Required Experience:

• Experience managing high-performing teams.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with languages such as Golang, Java, or Rust.
• Experience in building and operating cloud-based services.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience in security domains like application sandboxing or vulnerability scanning.
• Familiarity with infrastructure tools like Terraform or Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD systems.
